While this class is for those married with children, most of these faithful lessons also apply to single parents as well.
Hebrews 11:7
- Noah was warned, and by faith he built ark to save his family.
- We have been warned by God.
- Men need to lead spiritually.
- We’re all building something… either for God or Satan.
- Challenge today is keeping family sacred.
Are you willing to do whatever it takes spiritually to make marriage work?
Marriage is important for the church. The married couples bring security and stability. Great marriages provide hope for the lost. What does your marriage do for the lost?
Marriage: God’s Consuming Blaze of Glory – Outline
Intro: Greetings from all the disciples in the Syracuse International Christian Church!!
READ 2 Chronicles 7:1-3, and 2 Chronicles 7:12-16
- We are among the most blessed peoples of the world, that God has kept his promise that his eyes and heart would always be in his temple.
- In 1 Corinthians 3:16 Paul writes: “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” Truly there is nothing greater in this world than having God’s eyes and heart, having a dynamic relationship with Him.
- If we remain in this vibrant relationship with God, than our marriages will be outstanding; but, if we rebel or drift in our relationships with God, then our marriages will be in jeopardy and be susceptible to the same things that destroy more than half of the marriages in the world.
I believe the Essential Question today for all of us married disciples is this:
Will we be consumed by the fire of God’s glorious purpose for our marriages and lives or will we be burned by the flames of this world?

Marriage Class part 3 – Communication in Marriage – Outline
Have deep convictions about communication in your marriage. Miscommunication will cause unnecessary strife in your marriage. Men and women may not think alike. Don’t assume you know what your wife wants. Communication is important to God. He wants you to be a great and faithful communicator.

What do you consider a husband’s role in the marriage should be? What about the wife’s role? People have all kinds of opinions on this and the world around has a lot to say on the matter as well. But what does God say?
