Prov 12:18 – “Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing”.

What you say DOES make a difference. Not only in an argument, but Jesus always said exactly what needed to be said and chose his words carefully. BODY LANGUAGE: one can tell a lot about the discussion by watching body language. Sometimes what is not said, says a lot. Is a couple forgiving? You can tell pretty quickly.
