The Greatest Gift – Outline

What is the greatest gift?

1 Corinthians 13:1-2
If there is no love it is like a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
When you take the driver’s wheel from God you become Lord of your life.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Everybody has been given different gifts to serve the kingdom, but we have the same Lord and same Spirit.

V. 12-13
We are all different parts of the body, but one body and one spirit.

V.21-26
The weaker are indispensable. God gives greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there would be no division in the body. Equal concern for one another. We need to be there for each other.

Ask the question: Is there one time that someone was there for me?

Eagerly desire love. Love is the greater gift.

Ephesians 4:17-24
If your heart is hard, repent. If it is hard you are in danger.
God’s will is for us to be Righteous and Holy. Not just once but over and over, you become that person.

v25-32
Sin makes things bumpy. Do not let the Devil get a foothold. When you are in sin the Devil can take you out.
You need to rid yourself of sin, you need to be kind and compassionate to one another. Forgive like Jesus forgave.

Ephesians 5: 1-2
Challange: Live a life a love.
Love is the greatest gift.
