1 Corinthians 12:31
- The most excellent way is love.

1 Corinthians 13:1-8
- If there is not love in your message, your communication is just noise. Other people may not always love the message, but the message must always be with love. If you are super-skilled or super-giving yet unloving, you are nothing. Without God we are nothing.
- Love is patient, kind, does not envy, does not boast, is not proud, not rude, not self seeking, not easily angered, no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil… Love never fails.
- We will not fail if we love like Jesus. Don’t quit, even if it gets difficult. There will be times of refreshing.
- When you are out of shape physically or spiritually, it is hard to change and get back in shape. In a month you can be in a different place spiritually if you work hard in the Lord. What do you allow into your body and mind?

Psalm 1:1-6
- The gospel message is not, “It’s all good.”

Matthew 24:12 Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.

- You are what you eat. What do you wake up thinking about? Have prayer and Bible study to fill you up.
- Don’t tolerate evil influence… including that on the TV and the computer.
- Keep a journal for a month of what you are taking in, what you are watching on TV, Internet, radio, etc. Don’t take in evil.
- Exercise your faith.

Jude says we have been once for all entrusted.

1 Peter 5:8
- Devil roars like a lion looking to devour you. The battle is now.

Revelation 21:1-8
- We love to talk about the good things. But there are bad things we must fight to overcome. Certain sins (v8) will disqualify you from heaven–includes the cowardly and unbelieving.
- Don’t stay on injured reserve. Don’t be uncommitted. You’ll end up wanted to be traded to the world.
- God asks for all your effort. You can do it but decide to do it.
- Exercise your faith every day. Believe that if you focus on what you take in spiritually for a month, and you will be a different person.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-5
- Pray with confidence.
- We will face challenges but if we stay faithful, we will have victories because love never fails.

About the Cross
- Sin hardens hearts; we get deceived. Without the message of the cross, we wouldn’t know how to soften our hearts and fear God.
- The cross is the greatest example of unfailing love.

We fail when we fail to love. But love never fails.
