Let Christ Prove You Wrong - Outline

People in our world don’t know where to look for love. But looking for love, people too often find depression, isolation and other troubles. People get polluted by the world every day since they don’t know how to find God and his love. If you want true love, let Christ prove you wrong. Change your thinking to align with what God says.

1. Let Christ Pay Your Dues

1 John 1:5-2:2
- The only satisfaction you will ever find that lasts is if you get the forgiveness of God. Jesus was literally sacrificed for you.

Luke 24:45
- Pray that Jesus will open your mind to understand the scriptures. Pray this for the lost as well.

Acts 2:36-37 How to respond to Jesus’ sacrifice:

2. Let Christ Fill Your Shoes.

Colossians 3:1-11
- Christ needs to be your life. Before you can let Christ fill your shoes, you first have to get out of them yourself. Admit that God knows what is best for you.

James 4:4 Can’t be friend of the world

Galatians 2:20
- Can you say you have been crucified with Christ?
- Can you say you live by faith?
- Surround yourself with disciples you want to imitate.

3. Let Christ Unify You

Colossians 3:12-17
- To be unified you must have Christ as your focus.
- When God looks at disciples, he sees Jesus Christ. Treat each other as God would. Unity will never be forged with people who are dull with Christ. We can be unified when we focus on Jesus with all of our heart.

John 13:34-35
- Loving like Jesus is a command. That inspires people. God reigns. He knows best. Let Christ prove you wrong.
