Find out the connection between love and faith.

Galatians 5:1-6
- Don’t be burdened again by a yoke of slavery
- Faith expressing itself through love is the only thing that counts.

Matthew 8:5-13 Faith of the centurion
- Does your faith astonish Jesus?
- Faith moves us forward
- Lack of faith moves you backward

Matthew 8:23-27 Jesus calms the storm
- Do you believe what Jesus says?

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
- Faith overcomes fear

1 John 4:11-16 “…since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another…”
- True love sees people through God’s eyes and wants to help

1 John 5:2-4
- Love for God is to obey his commands
- Our love must come from God

1 John 4:7-11
- God is love. Jesus’ sacrifice is love. Learn this and imitate God’s sincere love.
