What Kind of Fish Are You? - Outline
Key scripture: Matthew 13:47-50, Parable of the Net
Spiritually speaking, what kind of fish are you?
Fish 1: Blowfish? Puffed up and prideful when threatened or afraid (Acts 24:24-26)
Fish 2: Flounder? Flat fish laying on the bottom of sea, clumsy and confused in appearance (1 Corinthians 9:24-27)
Fish 3: Shark? They are in every ocean, in all sizes. They destroy, like the Devil (1 Peter 5:8-9).
Fish 4: Swordfish? Uses sword to defend & attack. Use your sword, the Bible (2 Timothy 2:15).
Fish 5: Salmon? Born in fresh water, they migrate to the ocean. Then returns to fresh water to reproduce (back home). They go upstream, against the flow of water. Many die after spawning, but they don’t quit. (1 Timothy 4:16, Matthew 10:16-20).
